1-on-1 IELTS prep

The program is organized to prepare you for all four parts of the IELTS test: Academic Reading, Academic Listening, Academic Speaking, Academic Writing.

Every program consists of individual 60-minute lessons and full IELTS test simulations that run about 3h on average. Our sessions are exclusively online, 1-on-1 with expert mentors who specialize in IELTS. After every lesson, you get a progress report, homework, and a plan for the next session.

As part of the program you also get exclusive access to individual workshops and consultations on applications to elite universities and scholarships, as well as advanced workshops on academic writing and scholarly work in English.

There are two versions of the IELTS test: Academic and General Training. The right version depends on what you need the test for.

You take IELTS Academicif you're planning to enroll at a university abroad, whether for undergraduate, master's or doctoral studies. It's most commonly required for universities in the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland. The Academic version is also required for professional registration in fields such as medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, law, engineering and accounting, when a country or institution requires proof of English proficiency.

IELTS General Trainingis meant for immigration, work visas and practical everyday situations. It's most commonly used for programs such as Canadian Express Entry, Australian skilled migrationand certain UK work visas. It can also be required for secondary education or vocational programs that aren't academic in nature.

The simplest rule is this: if you're going to university or you need the test for a professional license, choose Academic. If you need the test for immigration, work or living abroad without enrolling at a university, choose General Training.

The Achivr program is primarily built for IELTS Academic prep, but we also cover General Training when needed.

We tailor every program to the student, duration, special features and choice of mentor (native or bilingual) are all determined based on your level, goals and prior experience.

Programs run from 3 to 6 months depending on the goal. After a free consultation, we recommend the program most likely to get you to your target score.

Between sessions you'll need to put in about one to two hours on homework. We offer 30+ time slots a week, including weekends and evenings.

Our simulations are designed to give you a feel for what it's really like to sit the IELTS test live. You'll face the same pressure, the same time limits, the same amount and difficulty of tasks, and at the end you'll get an expert analysis of your results from our three-person review panel.

Our simulations are extremely accurate. The deviation from your final result is less than 0.5 of a band, meaning if you score a 7.0 band on our simulation, you'll score between 6.5 and 7.5 on the real test. After every simulation you get a detailed breakdown of your results with recommendations for improvement.

Our students' average IELTS score over the past 4 years is a 7.0 band. Of that, 95% of students pass with the score they need for their target university on the first attempt, while 78% get into one of the top 100 universities in the world.

If you don't hit your target score, you get an extra month of lessons for free, minimum 8 additional lessons and one test simulation. Over the years, on average fewer than 2% of students have used this guarantee, because thankfully they didn't need it.

Absolutely! Research shows a direct correlation between high IELTS results (7.0+ band) and successful admission to prestigious universities. Scholarships are even more selective. Data suggests that students with an 8.0+ band on average have higher chances of winning a scholarship.

The visa interview can be the most stressful part of the whole process, especially for the UK Student Visa and Canadian Study Permit, where officers make their decision after just a few minutes of conversation. That's why we offer dedicated visa interview prep with our mentors, who have been through this process themselves.

The prep includes a 1-on-1 interview simulationwith the most commonly asked questions, practice answering in English, tips on posture, eye contact and tone of voice, as well as a review of your financial and academic documentation from the officer's point of view.

The goal is to make sure you come across as confident, clear and prepared at the real interview, with answers that are convincing and consistent with your application.

Ambitious students aiming for a 6.5+ band and admission to prestigious universities in the UK, Canada and Australia. Minimum B2 level English. For students with a lower starting level than this, we offer a dedicated intensive English program before starting IELTS prep.
