Frequently asked questions

TOEFL or IELTS: how do I choose?

For the US and Canada, TOEFL is the more common choice. For the UK, Australia, and programs with an interview-style Speaking section, it's IELTS. If you're applying to both sides, TOEFL is accepted almost everywhere. You'll find the comparison table on this page, and on a free consultation we'll help you choose based on your destination and deadline.

What does the free consultation look like?

The consultation takes about 20 minutes. We talk about your target score, your test date, and the universities you're applying to, and recommend the program most likely to get you to your goal.

How long does the program take and what does it cost?

We tailor every program to the student: duration and the choice of teacher (native or bilingual) depend on your level and goals. Programs run from 3 to 6 months, with prices starting at €279 per month.

What if I don't reach my target result?

If you attend sessions regularly and complete your assignments but don't hit the agreed target, the program is extended at no extra cost until you get there.

What is Achivr Mentorship™?

An individual program for students who, alongside the test, are building a complete application for top universities: one-on-one work with founder Stefan, a native-speaker consultant, a personal statement and CV, and interview prep. We work in small cohorts. Applications are currently closed, but you can join the waiting list with no obligation.
