About the company
Mtel is the leading telecommunications operator in Bosnia and Herzegovina and part of the Telekom Srbija group. It provides fixed and mobile telephony, internet, and television services to more than a million customers, operating in an environment where strategy, technology, and partnerships are discussed at an international level.
The challenge
Communication at group level
As part of the Telekom Srbija group, Mtel's management regularly communicates with group leadership, international partners, and global suppliers. Reports, negotiations, and strategic presentations must reflect the standard of a company serving more than a million customers.
Communication with no room for error
Negotiations with suppliers, regulatory matters, and presentations to the board leave no room for imprecision. Management didn't need another English course, they needed the confidence to deliver every message clearly, precisely, and exactly as intended.
A schedule that can't be predicted
Top management's commitments shift hour to hour. Classic scheduled classes don't work in that environment. The program had to adapt to the participants, not the other way around.
The solution
For Mtel, we created the Executive English Masterclass, a program renewed in twelve-month cycles that fully follows the rhythm of top management. The program's foundation is one-on-one mentoring with senior mentors, complemented by small-group work and sessions with native speakers for the most demanding communication situations. Every cycle opens and closes with a CEFR assessment, so progress is precisely measured, documented, and available to participants and the HR team.
Every participant works with a dedicated senior mentor on real business situations: reporting to the group, supplier negotiations, and strategic presentations. No generic lessons — every session is built around the participant's specific business context.
For the highest-stakes communication situations, from board presentations to international negotiations, participants work with native speakers and business consultants on the nuances that make the difference: tone, persuasiveness, and running meetings in English.
Materials are developed around the industry's needs: technology, regulatory matters, commercial topics, and corporate reporting. Participants aren't learning generic English, they're learning the language they use in their jobs.
